Junction Skatecamp!

What?

Junction has two kinds of camps. Training Camp Runs for three hours and includes a healthy dose of instruction as well as some free time to work on individual tricks. Throw in some challenges and competitions for good measure - and you've got an awesome bang for your buck. Skatecamp The complete experience. Eight hours of pure skate action. Here's a rundown of a typical day: 9AM-930AM - warm up, stretch and morning announcements. 930-1030 - Tag or "Thuggin." These games are all about working on balance and board control - did we mention they're REALLY fun? 1030AM-1200PM - Organized instruction. Sounds boring but it's not. This is where the magic happens - push yourself! 1200PM-100PM - Videos, lunch, relax... 100PM-230PM - Instructor switch. We like to keep the groupls with their instructors, but it's fun to skate with new people - so we mix it up. 230PM-300PM - Challenge time. Longest manual, high ollie, best trick, SKATE, And there's always PRIZES. Plus, we buy lunch!

When?

Why?

Dropping a beginner off at a skatepark is a lot like dropping off a kid at a baseball field with a glove and a ball. They're probably going to have fun, but they aren't going to end up the best athlete they can be. While our focus isn't to churn out pros, we try to educate our campers from "soup to nuts." We evaluate their abilities and put them into a group with skaters on a similar level. From there they'll work on anything from skatepark etiquette, pushing, to kickflip front boards and airs. At the end of the week we can guarantee you've got a safer, more confident ripper than the one you dropped off on Monday. Remember, our program allows us to cater to beginners as well as kids who want to get sponsored. We've got an amazing facility and the most qualified instructors in the country, period.

Who?

Junction Skatecamps are taught by Theory/Junction staff and team riders. Instructors are knowledgeable and friendly.
